Josh was born and raised just south of Boston, Massachusetts and fell in love with Cricket, as a spectator, at a young age. Due to the lack of clubs and resources at the time, he was forced to rely on late night television and makeshift matches in the yard to get his fix of the game.
He discovered SLCCU after moving to Salt Lake and has a been a fixture in the side for the last 4 seasons. Generally reliable behind the stumps, if not eye-raising, he has the ability to take difficult catches and stumpings, but sometimes makes the easy ones look difficult. He is a hard hitting, though not technically gifted batsman. He has managed to put a few solid innings together for the side, but is still more useful for his work with the gloves. Josh will continue to be a mainstay with the club and hopes to one day improve.
Most of his other interests revolve around the various outdoor activities Utah has to offer. He is an avid skier and hiker. He also can't get enough of the golf courses so abundant in Utah.
