Salt Lake County Cricket Union was formed in the early eighties and has been growing steadily ever since. Salt Lake County Cricket Union was the first cricket club, other than the early pioneers, in Utah. Few people realize that cricket is being played regularly right here in our beautiful state, nestled in the Rocky Mountains. If you have been searching for the opportunity to play cricket, you have found it. Salt Lake County Cricket Union consists of members from Australia, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nepal, South Africa, UK and USA. The objective of SLCCU is to promote the sport of Cricket not only in Utah but also to promote and sponsor cricket here in the Intermountain States. Salt Lake County Cricket Union has one of the most scenic and well maintained grounds and wickets in the west. Not to mention the breathtaking scenery of downtown Salt Lake and the beautiful Wasatch Mountains on the East side of the park. The concrete wicket has a new Astroturf playing surface. In addition, there are toilet facilities and a play area with swings and slides for the younger family members.
We practice at the Terrace Hill Park every Sunday from 10:30 AM. We hope you enjoy your visit!
